Mama Recipe Biryani Rice

Do you like biryani rice? If yes, this is the right blog for you. Biryani is actually rice cooked with fragrant spices. The rice are usually long grain rice such as Basmati. It is usually thin, long, and fine grains. The rice will look colorful compare to the common white or brown rice. Usually you may just eat it with gravy or you may add on with dishes like chicken, mutton, fish, and cabbage.

Yesterday, I went to the Old Airport Road Food Centre. I was walking around looking for rice. I came across this Mama Recipe Biryani Rice stall sell by Chinese uncle. It is very rare to see non Muslim seller selling Biryani rice. I decided to give a try. During that time, the friendly seller is busy frying the fried chicken. He informed only will be ready after 20-30 minutes. I decided to try whatever available.

Checkout the picture above. I ordered Biryani Rice with curry chicken and cabbage. The basic Biryani will only come with just rice and some gravy. The fried chicken looks tempting. Perhaps next time I will drop by and try again. The rice portion is a lot. Curry chicken gravy is good. Some small portion of cucumber pickles really goes well with this Biryani meal. And not to forget my cabbage is good too.

Overall, I am satisfied with this stall. Definitely will come back here again. They have other dishes as well such as curry fish, curry mutton, and different type of vegetables. I also took the deep fried dough called 'Papadom'. It cost me $5.50 (SGD). Is totally worth it for the price.

The stall is quite easy to spot. Is much nearer if you are coming from Mountbatten MRT station. It is located at the center row towards the end of the stalls. I came around in the evening, not sure if they open during lunch hour. Feel free to comment down below. Thanks for reading guys :)

Two Sons Bistro KLCC

 I have been eyeing public share and post about this restaurant Two Sons Bistro regards to their specialty on clams and mussels. It looks really good from picture and video shared by them. Just coincidence I need to buy something from Under Amour from KLCC shopping mall, decided to have dinner at this restaurant. Located inside Suria KLCC level 4, lot 415. Do take note I arrived late evening, seats are almost full. Lucky enough there are one small round table spot for me to dine in with a friend of mine. We ordered few items and inform the waitress we may eat now. Just for your information, I went during fasting month, most of the diners wait for open fast. 88 Chicken Rice located inside West Coast Market Square. This hawker stall will have long queue during lunch hour. I have been visiting this stall few times to try different type of chicken from meaty to drumstick and also roasted and steamed chicken rice.
