88 Chicken Rice located inside West Coast Market Square. This hawker stall will have long queue during lunch hour. I have been visiting this stall few times to try different type of chicken from meaty to drumstick and also roasted and steamed chicken rice. Few months back I was craving for chicken rice. Walk around the market hawker center to look for chicken rice. There's one stall facing the road side selling chicken rice too. I have tried that particular stall. Comment down below if you are interested to read about that stall, I will blog it :) While this 88 chicken rice stall located middle row. You will definitely notice as the queue for this stall can be pretty long. Located next to economy rice stall. Stall info will be listed down at the end of this post.

I preferred steamed chicken rice. Check out the picture below. A portion like this cost $3.00 (SGD). They served quite a huge portion for $3.00 chicken rice. A plate of fragrant chicken rice, full small plate of meaty steamed chicken and a hot bowl of chicken soup. If you like to add more green, you should get the set meal. It comes with green vegetables. Chicken is really soft and tasty.

Recently, I re-visit this stall again. They increase $0.50 (SGD). A normal basic plate of chicken rice now cost $3.50 (SGD). Picture below is the roasted chicken rice. Portion wise, is still the same. Roasted chicken is good too. I like the texture of the chicken and the chicken skin.

I notice the drumstick price is just additional $0.50 (SGD). Normally, elsewhere chicken rice stall charge about a dollar to a dollar and a half if you request for drumstick portion. $4.00 (SGD) if you get from this stall. For those who don't really like the chicken breast or wing should get drumstick. Not many meat but drumstick lover will love it.

In summary, this is the best chicken rice so far I ever had around Clementi area. Arrive early to avoid the crowd and queue. Usually about 1-2pm, not much left over or the auntie might even start to do clean up. Do let me know elsewhere which chicken rice stall that sell about this portion and price. Would like to try out.
